Axillary Hyperhidrosis Treatment

It may take several days to notice a reduction in sweating, with the full effect appearing in 2 weeks.

The effects of the treatment can last 6-12 months, depending on individual factors.

There is relatively no down time. You can typically resume normal activities immediately. It is recommended not to apply anything to the underarms for at least 12 hours to avoid any irritation, this includes antiperspirants. Also, avoid working out for at least 24 hours post injection.

You will typically begin seeing results within several days and the full effect in two weeks. We have you follow-up two weeks after treatment to evaluate if any areas still need to be injected. Once you have achieved great results, you will only need to come back for maintenance every 6-12 months.

A gradual return a sweating will occur as the temporary effect on the sweat glands subsides. When this happens, schedule your next appointment with us!

Semaglutide is a revolutionary GLP-1 receptor agonist that was originally developed for patients with Type 2 diabetes, but when providers and pharmaceutical developers noticed how much weight their patients were losing, they began to study semaglutide exclusively for weight loss.
