Semaglutide
Semaglutide is a revolutionary GLP-1 receptor agonist that was originally developed for patients with Type 2 diabetes, but when providers and pharmaceutical developers noticed how much weight their patients were losing, they began to study semaglutide exclusively for weight loss. A series of clinical trials known as the STEP clinical trials demonstrated that almost 90% of patients lost 5% or more of their body weight. There is no other weight loss drug on the market that compares. In June of 2022, the FDA approved semaglutide for weight loss.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like-peptide) receptor agonist. It mimics the action of the hormone GLP-1. GLP-1 is naturally released in the small intestine in response to food consumption. The role of GLP-1 is to regulate blood sugar by stimulating the release of insulin, inhibiting glucagon secretion, and slowing gastric emptying. Therefore, it plays a crucial role in glucose metabolism and appetite regulation.

Tirzepatide is an injectable medication that has shown to be promising for weight loss. It is similar to Semaglutide. Studies have shown that is just as effective in treating weight loss compared to Semaglutide.
This medication is very similar to Semaglutide in that in replaces the GLP-1 hormone. It also replaces our glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) hormone which effects another pathway that facilitates in weight loss and insulin release.
You can expect similar benefits as mentioned for Semaglutide. However, some have reported less side effects with Tirzepatide compared to Semaglutide, such as nausea.

MIC & Vitamin B12 Injections - $35
AKA the “skinny shot”, A MIC injection is a supplement to add to a weight loss program as it aids in fat metabolism. It can act as a temporary boost to your semaglutide weight loss regimen. They can be given once week.
